Using traditional magnets, beads experience unpredictable fields and forces depending on their distance to the magnet. These adverse conditions can cause variability issues, especially when large batches of (functionalized) beads are manufactured i.e. IVD kit production. Sepmag introduces a precision magnetophoresis system in which all beads experience the same conditions so that each aliquot from the production batch is homogeneous. As a result, the reproducibility of every single diagnostic test is greatly improved.
