New Sepmag (free) eBooks page

As part of their effort to disseminate knowledge on biomagnetic separation, SEPMAG publishes eBooks and documents about the subject. Prepared by internal and external experts, these materials are available for free to the scientific and industrial Life Science community.

The initiative is in keeping with SEPMAG’s vision to promote the use of magnetic separation technology, but also serves to ensure that current users utilize the application correctly. During the course of more than 10 years of experience, we have detected problems in establishing SOPs, validation, scaling up, or Quality Control. Most of these can be attributed to the lack of literature regarding the physics involved in the process, their key parameters, and how to translate this science into operating procedures.

Sepmag ebooks page

What started some time ago with a few Basic and Advanced Guides, mainly written by our staff, has grown with the contribution of stakeholders in the area (industrials and academic experts). As a result, the number of titles has increased dramatically, and can be accessed on the www.sepmag.eu/resoruces/ebook page.

Our marketing and technical teams have collaborated to find a way to make the documents easily accessible to potential users, including pre- and post-graduate students, academic scientist, industry managers, or laboratory technicians. The outcome of this collaboration was put in place a few days ago. All the titles now appear in a visual table, with the covers organized by topic and difficulty level. The first group displays the documents that focus on different applications (CLIA; Protein Purification, Cell Sorting). A second group organizes the Guides and articles relating to the different aspects of the Biomagnetic Separation process itself: scaling-up, production, Validation & QC, and re-suspension. In each topic, the documents are categorized as Basic and Advanced Guides, or extensions (articles).

Please, have a look at www.sepmag.eu/resoruces/ebook, and check if any of the documents may help you. Be sure to come back every few weeks to see what’s new.
